Computer Recycling Specialists
DFW Reclaimers, Inc.
Servicing the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area
Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs.
As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers
and referrals. Our goal is to provide a means to reduce electronic waste in the landfill stream by providing a more efficient electronic recycling and computer recycling process.
We offer
- Per our company policy, all undamaged, unaltered hard drives are degaussed using a Garner HD3-XTL Degausser. Our process meets government mandates and is compliant with:
HIPAA (Health Information and Portability Act)
NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Guidelines for Media Sanitization
DOD up to secret classification
GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
NIST SP 800-88r1
PCI DSS 4.0 (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard
PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)
GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act)
California Senate Bill 1386
Solid states (unaltered, undamaged) are processed using the Garner PD-5 SSD1 Solid State Destroyer.
If preferred, we can mobilize our degaussing unit and process your hard drives on-site. A fee will be required
for this service. Hard drives will need to be removed and de-cased in advance from your equipment before
we arrive to degauss. Access to a work space with electricity is required.
-
Certificate of Recycling (Upon Request): Upon request, we can tailor a certificate to meet your needs providing confirmation your items have been appropriately recycled. Please note our basic certificate is an inventory (count) of your items. If you or your company requires additional information, please let us know. Please allow 12-14 business days for your equipment to be processed and your certificate emailed.
Note: ANY hard drives that have been bent, drilled, punched through, broken in pieces, etc. cannot pass through the degaussing machine as the pieces damage our equipment and don't fit properly. We will not certify data destruction compliancy on these types of hard drives. Degaussing is the only means to achieve the above government mandates.
-
Scheduling Requirements: To schedule a pick-up appointment, an accurate count of all items is required. All items must be free of trash, fully unplugged, and consolidated into a single, accessible area at the time of pick-up. Computers and/or laptops must be included in the inventory to qualify for a pick-up appointment.
-
Cancellation Policy: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled without proper notice will incur an $85 non-notice cancellation fee, which must be paid at the time of rescheduling.
We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and provide a
service to help you and our world.
